The Fort Lee Parking Authority voted Dec. 9 to approve a web-based E-bike and E-scooter registration system for delivery-service users, to be developed in coordination with the Fort Lee Police Department. The board authorized a Statement of Work and implementation steps at a one-time on‑cost of $15,000 and ongoing monthly maintenance costs not to exceed $1,000.
The system is intended to allow delivery riders to register electronically and provide a secure portal for assigned personnel to review and manage registrations. Executive Director Hernani Goncalves discussed the project and the resolution passed unanimously (motion by Richard Radoian, second by Michael Raskin).
