The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Board of Trustees took the following actions during the special called meeting that began at 6:01 p.m.:
- Consent agenda: Approved 7–0. Items included financial reports for the month ended June 30, 2024; certification of the 2024 appraisal rolls and the estimated debt collection rate; and the 2023–2024 final budget amendment. (Motion: Kim Brady; Second: Cassandra Hatfield.)
- Item 5B (2024–25 proposed budget): Approved 7–0. (Motion: Kim Brady; Second: Lleana Garza-Rojas.)
- Item 5C (Resolution to defease and call redemption of certain obligations): Approved 7–0. (Motion: Tara Hrbacek; Second: Carolyn Benavides.)
- Item 5D (Proposed tax rate): An amendment by Trustee Tara Hrbacek to reduce the tax rate by 0.005 failed 3–4. The ensuing vote to approve Item 5D as presented (flat tax rate) passed 5–2. Individual roll-call positions are recorded in the minutes.
