Wayne County approves several hires and a CYS transfer, effective February–March 2026

The Wayne County Commissioners approved a series of personnel actions during their Feb. 19 meeting. The board voted to hire Frances Montaperto as a full-time nurse at the Wayne County Correctional Facility, effective Feb. 23, 2026, and to hire four part-time corrections officers — Thomas Bryant, Connor Sansky, Lauren Molinaro and Paul Duarte — all effective Feb. 23, 2026. Each hire was made by motion and carried.
Separately, the board approved a lateral transfer for Beth Thomas to CYS County Caseworker 2 Permanency (no salary change), effective Feb. 23, 2026, and approved hiring Noah Salzameda as County Caseworker 2 at Wayne County Children & Youth Services, effective March 9, 2026. The minutes record the motions and their carry decisions but do not include vote tallies by name beyond the motions being carried.
