Canton ISD honors staff and presents Lamar Award to teacher Leslie Corey

The board also recognized Employees of the Month: Elementary Amber Mintz, Intermediate Jamie Green, Junior High Taylor Sopish, and High School Mandie West.
Students Hayden McLeod and Kayleigh Willis presented the board with certificates for School Board Appreciation Month to thank trustees for their service. The recognitions were presented during the meeting’s information and recognition segments; no formal board action was required to record the honors.
