District launches quarterly bond updates; CBAC to be engaged in specs and design

Mr. Ernesto Ortiz presented the first quarterly update on the district—s 2024 bond program and said the administration will provide consecutive quarterly updates to the Citizens Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC). Ortiz said administration, staff and students will join specification and design meetings to inform project planning.
Trustee Barnes asked which campuses will be prioritized and how that decision was reached. Trustee Patsy Mendoza complimented the PROCEDEO team for transparency on social media and the district website. No formal action was taken; the district indicated it will schedule stakeholder meetings ahead of design steps.
