Burleson ISD reports early-year finances: 12% of revenues collected, 14% of expenditures spent

District financial staff reviewed multiple reports for the 2024-25 budget, including General Fund revenue and expenditure dashboards, food service and debt service fund summaries, special revenue and child care reports, capital projects (oil and gas) and a report of payments over $10,000. In reviewing the financial statements ending Sept. 2024, staff reported the district had collected approximately 12% of budgeted revenues and expended approximately 14% of budgeted General Fund expenditures.
Trustees received the quarterly investment report and a capital project update; no board action was taken on budget changes at the Nov. 11 meeting. The figures reflect early-year activity and will continue to be monitored in subsequent reports.
