A member of Rotary told the Omak Park Board Feb. 10 that local organizations are willing to help with future park projects and asked how the Comprehensive Park Plan reflects the completed Park Survey. Diane Probach asked whether Plan Goals are aligned with the Action Plan and thanked the board for its work.
City Planner Kurt Danison replied that the goals and objectives in the draft are meant as guidelines, not fixed mandates, and outlined how the planning process informed the draft. Board members accepted the offer of help and moved to forward the plan to City Council with a recommendation for adoption.
