The Caddo Mills ISD Board of Trustees on Nov. 18 approved several administrative actions, including a furniture purchase for Kathy Kirkpatrick Elementary and acceptance of a district vulnerability assessment. Board President Mark Sweeney called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., and trustees voted on all items by recorded unanimous margins where noted.
Dane Scoggins moved to approve Plano Office Supply's furniture bid for Kathy Kirkpatrick Elementary in the amount recorded as $582,202.29; Rueben Terry seconded and the motion passed 7-0. Trustees also approved a Resolution for the Review of the Investment Program and accepted a District Vulnerability Assessment, each by 7-0 votes. The board approved consent items including Oct. 21 minutes, financial and tax reports, the investment report, pledge report and acceptance of gifts.
The superintendent reported a current district enrollment of 3,077 students. The meeting included updates on construction projects at Kathy Kirkpatrick Elementary and the high school baseball/softball complex, plus recognitions of students and staff across district campuses.
