Superintendent reports rising attendance, slight enrollment dip from last year and March substitute costs

Henson reported the district used 223 substitute days in March at a cost of $21,467.50 and that the district has used approximately 49% of the budgeted substitute line and 59% of the overtime and extra-duty budget for the year. He also noted staffing counts had decreased by 26 staff members for the month and 12 fewer since the start of the school year.
