Wayne County Commissioners on March 5 unanimously approved an agreement with the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River to allow Wayne County 9-1-1 to continue locating emergency radio equipment and antennas in the Upper Delaware region through Aug. 1, 2029.
Commissioner James Shook moved for approval and Commissioner Jocelyn Cramer seconded the motion. The agreement was presented as an interagency arrangement to maintain emergency communications infrastructure in the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River area; no opposing views or conditions were recorded in the minutes.
