The Carrizo Springs CISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously Nov. 11 to canvas and certify the results of the Nov. 5, 2024 general election and authorized issuance of Certificates of Election. The special meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. and adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
"to canvas and certify the 2024 General Election results of November 5, 2024 and authorize issue of Certificate of Election," Trustee Jeffrey Ortiz moved; Trustee Wilbur Cruz seconded and the motion carried 5-0. Trustees recorded present were Albert Sosa, Wilbur Cruz, Jeffrey Ortiz, Al Doria and Anita Franco; Juan Cruz and Michael Uriegas were absent. Mrs. Rose Pearson, Superintendent of Schools, was listed as district personnel in attendance.
The board opened a public-comment period per the posted agenda but heard no comments. After the vote, Trustee Ortiz moved to adjourn, Trustee Cruz seconded, and the board adjourned the special meeting at 6:05 p.m. The board’s action authorizes school officials to issue Certificates of Election to the successful candidates; the transcript does not specify the names of those certificate recipients.
