The Omak City Council on Feb. 17 unanimously approved Resolution 15-2026, authorizing Amendment No. 5 with Gray & Osborne, Inc. for engineering services tied to the Central Avenue Bridge Water Main Replacement project. Public Works Director Wayne Beetchenow told the Council the amendment covers engineering work needed to replace the bridge water main.
Council member Steve Clark moved to approve the resolution and Member Michelle Gaines seconded; the motion passed with unanimous support. The Council's Infrastructure Committee had recommended the amendment for inclusion in the city's capital work program. The vote advances design and engineering steps required before construction can be scheduled.
