At the Oct. 28 meeting Chief of Staff Dr. Mikala Hill announced that PTO groups from multiple campuses and several student organizations donated a collective $5,703 to the Burleson Opportunity Fund. The minutes list participating PTOs and student groups from Academy at Nola Dunn, Academy of the Arts at Bransom, Frazier Elementary, Hajek Elementary, Kerr Middle School, STEAM Academy at Stribling, STEAM Middle School, Taylor Elementary, Burleson High School, Centennial High School, and Burleson Collegiate High School.
Executive Director of Curriculum Dr. Stacia Pearce recognized students who earned College Board national recognition for placing in the top 10% on the PSAT and maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher. The minutes include named students from Burleson High School, Centennial High School and Burleson Collegiate High School.
