Burleson ISD reviews budget dashboards; approves large requisitions and amendments

Financial staff presented budget dashboards and fund summaries for the 2024–25 year on Oct. 28. Through August 2024 the district had collected about 1% of budgeted revenues and spent roughly 6% of budgeted General Fund expenditures; the presentation included general fund dashboards, debt service, special revenue funds and a capital projects update.
Following the presentation, the board approved requisitions greater than $25,000 and approved year-to-date budget amendments. The requisitions motion was made by Dallas Owen and seconded by Staci Eisner; the budget amendments motion was made by Ryan Richardson and seconded by Staci Eisner. Both actions passed unanimously.
