Chester ISD approves ACH agreement with BOM Bank and updates authorized signers; trustee abstains

At the Nov. 18 meeting the board approved an ACH Origination Agreement with BOM Bank after a motion by newly seated trustee Timber Wright and a second from Jesse Gay. The minutes record that "the Board voted its approval, with Sam Handley abstaining from the vote."
Separately, the board approved an amendment to the authorized signers on district bank accounts that removed outgoing trustee Bryan Martin from all accounts and added Wade Read as an authorized signer on the Activity Account, Capital Projects Account, and the Safety Deposit Box. That motion, moved by Calvin Bittick and seconded by Jesse Gay, also recorded Sam Handley as abstaining. The minutes do not provide a reason for the abstentions.
