CHISD approves Sword to complete Phase 2 and 3 of district rekeying plan

The board approved Sword as the vendor to complete Phases 2 and 3 of the district rekeying plan, authorizing work at Jackson Elementary in the 2026-2027 facility cycle and planning Phase 3 (Wise Elementary) when funds are available.
Chris Blake reported that Phase 1 (High School, Kissam, and new construction) had been completed and that the district selected Sword following standard procurement and evaluation. The motion to approve the vendor passed 5-0.
Administration will align work with the facility cycle budget and bring scheduling and funding details back to the board as phases proceed.
