Channelview ISD board authorizes contract offers for two administrative positions
Summary
Trustees authorized the Superintendent to offer contracts for a Nutrition Director and a Director of Innovation, Grants and Federal Programs; both motions passed 6–0. Naming a campus administrator for ACT Academy drew no action.
Trustees voted to authorize the Superintendent to offer a contract to the recommended candidate for Nutrition Director and, separately, to authorize offering a contract for Director of Innovation, Grants and Federal Programs. Both motions were moved, seconded and approved by unanimous 6–0 votes. The agenda item to name the campus administrator for the ACT Academy received no action.
The approvals permit personnel negotiations and contract finalization by the Superintendent’s office. Board minutes record the motions and the unanimous votes; the district will return to the board with finalized contract documents and onboarding details as appropriate.
