Channelview ISD board approves budget amendment and purchases, all motions pass unanimously

During the business portion of the Nov. 18 meeting, trustees approved several fiscal and administrative items by unanimous votes. Lynette Breedlove moved to approve district purchases over $50,000 and Budget Amendment #2; both motions carried 6–0. The board also approved the T-TESS appraisers list and the School Health Advisory Council membership as presented, each by unanimous vote.
Board action on these items was procedural and carried without recorded opposition. The approvals permit staff to proceed with procurement and budget changes reflected in Budget Amendment #2 and to finalize appraiser assignments and advisory council membership for the academic year.
