Chapel Hill ISD board approves District of Innovation amendments allowing local class-size decisions

The motion passed 6-0 with one trustee absent.
The amendments remove the Campus Behavior Coordinator exemption in light of recent legislative changes and allow the local Board to approve elementary class sizes exceeding a 22:1 ratio without submitting waiver requests to the Texas Education Agency. Trustee Martin Ibarra moved approval and David Acker seconded; no dissent was recorded.
