The Center ISD School Health Advisory Council met on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2026. Attendees listed in the minutes included Carey Jordan (Special Education Director), David Hailey (Businessman/Youth Pastor), Lindsay Montario (CISD RN Coordinator), Crystal Chisenhall (FLM Assistant Principal), Joyce Permenter (Administrative Assistant to Superintendent), Jennifer Tomlin (CMS Principal) and Sally Wilburn (CES Principal); those recorded as absent included Kasi Ashley (CES Counselor), Tina Byrnes (Food Service Director), Marlene Hernandez (Parent), Denise Merriman (Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center) and Heath Hagler (CHS Principal). Visitors were recorded as Lindsay Anderson (FLM Nurse) and Jennifer Ferguson (CES Nurse).
The committee approved the lice-policy revisions discussed under agenda item 2.1 and later adjourned the meeting. Carey Jordan made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Jennifer Tomlin; the minutes record "The motion carried." The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. and adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
