Center ISD's Chief Financial Officer Valerie Moore told the board the district earned $47,186.14 in interest in January and completed two bond payments on Feb. 11, 2026: $1,561,919.38 and $2,419,453.75. The minutes state the second payment retired the qualified school construction bond (QSCB) six months ahead of schedule.
On a motion by Trustee Casey Lout, seconded by James Ragan, the board approved the January 2026 financial statements and the January investment report; the motion carried 6'0'00. Moore also said principals and directors are under 40% of their expenditures based on current budget reviews.
