In open session following closed deliberations, the Center ISD Board of Trustees approved a motion to terminate the probationary contract of Center Middle School teacher Sinhue Noriega effective immediately. Trustee Casey Lout made the motion, Trustee Josh Burns seconded, and the board voted 7–0 to authorize administration to provide notice to Mr. Noriega.
