Henson also reported attendance by nine-week period (first nine weeks 95.95%, second nine weeks 95.8%, current nine weeks 93.39%) and a semester average of 94.92%, short of the district goal of 96%. Enrollment was reported at 2,234, down nine students from the prior month. He noted substitute usage (201 substitutes) costing the district a little over $15,000 and that Roughrider Academy expects 20 graduates on Jan. 15, 2026.
