Dr. Houston said the district has recorded 507 personal device offenses across campuses as of Oct. 2, 2025, with most offenses at Channelview High School but a recent downward trend. Because the grant does not cover the full cost, the district is considering issuing Yondr devices only to repeat offenders rather than full campus deployment.
