Edna ISD trustees adopt Lone Star Governance Goal 3 and approve monthly governance review

At the Sept. 15 meeting trustees reviewed Lone Star Governance (LSG) work from Aug. 18, 2025 and approved the monthly summary that recorded 44 minutes of total public meeting time, 16 minutes of LSG time and LSG as 36.36% of meeting time. Trustee Dustin Kocian moved acceptance of the review and Trustee Terry Miller seconded; the motion passed 6-0 under Resolution 526665.
The board then approved Lone Star Governance Goal 3 and GPM 3.1 in a separate motion. Trustee Brandon Curlee moved approval and Trustee Kris Crenshaw seconded; the board recorded a 6-0 vote under Resolution 526666. The minutes do not include text of Goal 3 or GPM 3.1.
