Village public works staff reported that the kickoff meeting for a new water-main installation was held and that engineering plans and the grant application must be submitted to the state by June 30, 2026. MSA, the project's engineering advisor, recommended that at least one board member complete an online training course to improve the village's competitiveness for grant funding.
Trustees also discussed the Park Pavilion Project and the upcoming "Big Dig" grant cycle. Trustee Rebecca Coley said the village plans to reapply for the Big Dig grant but suggested it may be prudent to wait on the park pavilion until the water-main project's funding and timing are clearer. The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) project was reported to be progressing; the next on-site progress meeting is scheduled for April 15, 2026.
