Flour Bluff ISD approves $3.7M flooring contract, gym design and multiple bus purchases

"A motion was made by Mr. Hooper and seconded by Dr. McClure to approve and award the district-wide flooring replacements to Allison Flooring Co., and the motion carried 6-0," the minutes record.
Trustees also approved purchases of school buses: the Board authorized buying five buses using a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) grant combined with funds from the district's 2025 bond program through Longhorn Bus, and separately approved the purchase of one Special Education bus and one multi-purpose activity bus from Longhorn Bus Sales for a combined $270,437.00. The motions for the transportation purchases carried unanimously.
