Board receives ADA report and approves MOU for Texas Reading Academies

The administration also recommended entering a Memorandum of Understanding with Education Service Center 2 (ESC2) to participate in the Texas Reading Academies (TRA), a teacher professional learning program.
The board approved the MOU with ESC2 for the Texas Reading Academies by a 6–0 vote. "The administration recommends the Board of Trustees approve the MOU between FBISD and the ESC 2 for the Texas Reading Academies," the minutes state. The agreement is intended to support reading instruction training for district staff under ESC2's TRA program.
