Flour Bluff ISD approves personnel recommendations and amends superintendent's contract
Summary

Following a closed session (6:36–7:10 PM) the Flour Bluff ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve personnel recommendations discussed in closed session, including hiring of certified staff, staff restructuring, new positions, job descriptions, salary schedule adjustments, and contracts. The motion to approve these personnel recommendations was made by Trustee Jennifer Welp, seconded by Dr. Steven McClure, and carried 6–0.
The board also approved an addendum and/or amendment to the superintendent’s contract as discussed in closed session. Trustee Welp moved to approve the amended contract and to authorize Board President Shirley Thornton to sign the contract on behalf of the board; Dr. McClure seconded the motion and it carried 6–0.
