The administration presented its personnel recommendations to the Flour Bluff Independent School District Board of Trustees at the Feb. 24 workshop. District materials asked the board to "acknowledge receipt of the report of the Superintendent" on transfers, resignations and retirements and to "accept the Superintendent's recommendation to approve the hiring of personnel, restructuring of staff, and miscellaneous requests" including new positions, job descriptions, salary schedule adjustments and contracts.
The agenda grouped personnel items under both action and informational headings. Action items listed included hiring of certified staff, restructuring of staff, creation of new positions, job descriptions, salary schedule matters, teacher contracts, and instructional officer/administrative contracts. The packet also provided informational listings of resignations, transfers, equity increases and job reclassifications. The workshop minutes do not record a formal motion, second, or vote on these recommendations; the presentation was recorded in the packet for future board consideration.
