Rodney Stryk told the board the district switched audit firms about two years ago and that the current firm has been "easy to work with," according to the minutes. "Jessica Morrill moves the Board to Approve the Letter of Engagement with Roloff, Hnatek and Company as Flatonia ISD Auditor for the year ending August 31, 2026 as presented," the record states. The motion was seconded by Christina Manzano and passed 5-0.
The engagement letter is routine annual business to ensure an audit is in place for the fiscal year ending Aug. 31, 2026; no additional audit scope changes were recorded in the meeting minutes.
