Superintendent Clint Askins briefed the board on several district items during his Jan. 15 report, including upcoming conferences and community engagement events.
He highlighted the Region 15 School Board Conference in Fredericksburg (July 21–22), the TASA/TASB Conference in Houston (Sept. 12–14), the Dream Makers banquet on May 1 at Ranch 277, and Team of Eight training scheduled for Feb. 5. Askins also noted the district has sent out thank-you postcards to "over 100 community/parent volunteers." Trustees asked questions about projects and timelines; Askins responded and opened the floor for further questions.
