Chilton ISD superintendent withdraws resignation; board records no action

The Chilton ISD Board of Trustees met Sept. 8 at the Chilton ISD Secondary Library. According to the meeting record, the superintendent withdrew the resignation during the session; the board recorded "No Action Taken" on accepting the resignation.
The board entered an executive closed session at 6:38 p.m. citing Tex. Gov't Code 551.071, 551.074 and 551.129 and exited at 8:03 p.m. After returning from the closed session the minutes note the withdrawal and that the board took no formal action on the resignation or on naming an interim superintendent. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. after a motion by Rebecca Maxey and a second from James Jones that passed unanimously (6–0).
