The Goliad ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda on Nov. 11, covering routine administrative items and policy actions. The package included approval of Oct. 21 minutes; an Option 3 agreement to purchase attendance credit (netting Chapter 48 funding) and a delegation of related contracting authority to the superintendent under Texas Education Code §11.1511(c)(4) for obligations under TEC §48.257 and TEC Chapter 49 rules; the TEA bilingual/English as a Second Language waiver; the district investment policy and designation of the investment officer for 2024–25; a library fundraiser addition; and an update to local policy AE.
Trustee Jason Howard moved approval of the consent agenda; Trustee Emika Moya seconded and the motion carried 6–0. The delegation of contracting authority is limited to the purpose stated in the motion for the 2024–25 school year.
