The board received a progress update on Lone Star Governance goals for secondary math (Goal 4) and secondary English (Goal 5) and on Superintendent constraints tied to TIA and PLC implementation. Region 3 LSG coach Lisa Moya presented the district’s goal progress measures; Middle School Principal Shelby Taylor and high school presenter Charles Henke reported growth on interim measures.
Superintendent Lyon said staff had invested time preparing for TIA and PLC implementation and added, "Teachers are excited about getting this going." Trustees voted unanimously to accept the progress monitoring update, and district leaders said additional mid‑year assessment data will be shared as it becomes available.
