The council then adjourned the special meeting and moved directly into its scheduled budget work session, which staff noted was set to begin at 4:10 p.m.
Resolution No. 147 authorizes a contract between the City of Aspen and Peter J. Stryker and empowers the mayor to execute the contract; the city attorney said his office prepared the contract documents and offered to answer questions about its terms before the council voted.
