LTAC renames subcommittees and requires each member to complete at least one IPDE review per year

The committee approved three governance changes intended to align committee work with statutory and operational responsibilities. Members voted unanimously to rename subcommittees: Quality Assurance will become "Quality Standards," Research will become "Research, Innovation and Student Success," and Operations will become "Institutional Review Process and Practice." The chair noted the vote passed "unanimous" and recorded each motion.
LTAC also approved a proposal that subcommittee co-chairs and LTAC leadership convene at least twice per year to coordinate cross-cutting work. Finally, the committee accepted an operations recommendation that every LTAC member complete at least one Institutional Plans for Distance Education (IPDE) review each year. As the operations co-chair explained, the requirement helps spread reviewer workload and gives members practical exposure to institutional submissions; LTAC assigned a tracking owner for reviewer assignment.
