The Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously June 8 to endorse Dr. Shirley Rose-Gilliam to represent Region IV, Position G, on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors. The motion was made by Mrs. Angie Hanan and seconded by Mrs. Angie Wierzbicki and the vote was recorded as 7–0 in favor.
The endorsement was the only recorded formal action taken during the called meeting. Trustees present and recorded in the minutes as voting in favor were Kristin K. Tassin, Angie Hanan, Shirley Rose-Gilliam, Adam Schoof, Afshi Charania, Addie Heyliger and Angie Wierzbicki. The meeting agenda included a long list of review items and contract proposals that were presented for consideration but not shown with separate roll-call votes in the minutes.
