Planning commission votes to continue Aspen Meadows review to Nov. 5; also schedules special Roaring Fork meeting

The planning commission took two formal actions at the end of the meeting. Earlier the commission voted to continue the 844 Roaring Fork Road special review to a special meeting two weeks out; later, after the Aspen Meadows presentation and public comment, a commissioner moved to continue the Aspen Meadows matter to the Nov. 5 meeting for further analysis and follow‑up; the motion was seconded and passed on a roll call.
During the Oct. 29 continuance motion on Roaring Fork, a motion was made, seconded and a roll‑call confirmed availability for the special meeting. At the meeting’s close the commission again moved and seconded to continue Aspen Meadows to Nov. 5; commissioners answered roll call in the affirmative and the motion carried. Members also moved to adjourn and the meeting ended shortly thereafter.
The commission did not adopt final project approvals and directed staff and applicants to return with additional materials requested by commissioners, including refined parking counts, clarifications of which on‑street spaces would be removed by curb cuts, deed‑restriction language and an enforcement/monitoring plan tied to the physics TIA.
