Claude ISD trustees voted to extend the district's depository contract with Happy State Bank during their June 16 regular meeting.
"I move we approve the resolution to extend the depository contract with Happy State Bank," said Jessica Finley when she moved the resolution; Cole Cleveland seconded the motion. The board recorded a 6–0 vote in favor, with Johnny Sims and Ryan Slack absent.
The item was presented as a standard financial-housekeeping resolution; the minutes do not record additional terms, dollar amounts, or the contract effective dates. The approval appeared on the meeting's business agenda under item 9.A and was entered into the minutes as a formal resolution. The action will keep the district's banking relationship with Happy State Bank in place pending any subsequent board review.
The vote was part of a batch of routine business the board completed in a single meeting that also included personnel contracts, policy updates and approval of a vehicle purchase. The board adjourned at 7:26 PM.
