Board approves consent agenda; reports $13,150 in donations and renews IXL program

Trustees approved the consent agenda at their Sept. 16 meeting and recorded total donations of $13,150.34, including contributions from Whataburger, David Davalos, Cervantes Trucking, The Wagon Yard, G & G Electric, The Hyde Law Firm, Hood County News, Constellation Power Generation, Kiwanis Club of Lake Granbury, Kimberly Kountz, and the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
The board also approved the renewal of the IXL learning program and several catalog bids for athletics and CTE instructional supplies during the consent portion of the agenda. Some consent items were pulled for discussion (notably donations/budget amendments, the IXL renewal and the United Way MOU) before the board voted to pass the slate of items that were not pulled.
