The Granbury ISD Board on Oct. 14 passed two separate resolutions allocating the district’s votes for appraisal-district board memberships in Parker and Johnson counties. For Parker County the board resolved to divide the district’s 20 votes evenly among five incumbent members with expiring terms—Cody Lane, Jerry Durant, John Hinton, Richard Barret and Sterling Naron. The motion passed 5–2; Trustees Melanie Graft and Karen Lowery recorded nay votes.
For the Central Appraisal District of Johnson County the board adopted a resolution allocating votes among candidates (Duane Goulding, Amy Lingo, John R. Wood, Brannon Potts and James M. Cockrell). That motion passed unanimously. The minutes record the vote totals and the names of candidates; the motions were entered into the official record during the public meeting.
