The Board of Trustees unanimously adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1197 declaring a vacancy in the office of Village Trustee and approved Mayor William Joyce's appointment of James Hanus to fill the seat through 2027. Clerk Joseph M. Zagone Jr. administered the oath of office and the newly seated trustee joined the roll call.
Trustee Perchinski introduced the resolution and, after a roll-call vote, the motion carried with all trustees voting aye. Mayor Joyce announced the appointment to the board and said the term for the seat runs until 2027. There was no recorded opposition and no amendment to the appointment motion.
