The Village of Steger Board of Trustees voted April 21 to adopt Ordinance No. 1333, authorizing the disposal of surplus property for the village in Cook and Will counties. Trustee Perchinski moved adoption and Trustee Stewart seconded; the roll call recorded ayes from Trustees Thurmond, Stewart, Trotier, Joyce and Perchinski and the motion carried.
The ordinance was read by title during the new-business portion of the meeting as "ORDINANCE NO. 1333: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY FOR THE VILLAGE OF STEGER, COOK AND WILL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS." No amendments or public objections were recorded during the session. The board took similar routine actions at the meeting, including approval of bills and minutes before adjourning at 7:08 p.m.
