District reports progress on transportation facility, secure entry and new elementary site

Staff also reported preliminary playground designs by Newman Monson are complete and that summer finish work (painting, carpet, other site projects) is wrapping up at several schools. The presentation included schedule and coordination notes; staff invited trustees to ask questions about drainage work at Willowbrook and other localized maintenance items.
Board members thanked staff for progress updates and for on‑site efforts that reduced outsourcing for some maintenance work.
