Gatesville ISD approves $115,500 contract for Primary campus fire alarm system

Assistant Superintendent LeighAnn Goodwin presented bids for a Primary campus fire alarm system and recommended awarding the contract to Impact Fire for $115,500. Goodwin said bids opened on June 8 and that a rubric including price, proximity and reputation was used to evaluate proposals.
Calvin Ford moved to award the contract to Impact Fire and Loyd Hopson seconded; trustees approved the motion unanimously. Staff said the district aims to complete the installation during the summer break if scheduling permits.
