Trustees award junior high ceiling replacement contract to Everett's Acoustic for $126,337

Assistant Superintendent LeighAnn Goodwin recommended that the board accept Everett's Acoustic's winning proposal of $126,337 for replacement of grid and tile ceiling at the junior high campus. Bids were opened June 4 and Goodwin said the district used a rubric that weighed price, proximity and reputation when selecting the contractor.
Calvin Ford moved to accept Everett's Acoustic's proposal and Emily Wuenschel seconded; trustees voted 7-0 to approve the award. Goodwin said the work will begin within 14 days if the board approved and is planned to be completed over the summer break.
