FLOUR BLUFF ISD reports improved accountability score, highlights test and CCMR gains

At the board meeting, Mrs. White presented the district's 2425 annual report and highlighted multiple accountability and assessment indicators.
"Our overall score increased 5 points from an 80 to an 85," the presenter said, noting the district earned an overall B accountability rating. The district reported STAR participation of 99% and said it scored above the state and region in several grade-level STAR and high school EOC assessments. The presentation also listed a significant rise in special education enrollment (711 in 2223; 833 in 2324; 964 in 2425) and a district enrollment of 5,549 students for 2425.
The presenter summarized college, career and military readiness (CCMR) progress: a 15% increase from 2223 to 2324 and an estimated 80% CCMR rate for 2025 graduates. "We're estimating an 80% CCMR rate for the 2025 graduates," the presenter said. The district also noted a higher military-connected student share (18.6%) than state averages and announced plans to expand dual-credit partnerships with Del Mar beginning in 2627.
Board members asked clarifying questions; materials and the full CAPER were made available online and will be posted to the district website within two weeks, the presenter said.
