Chairperson Larry Grisen told the council the committee reviewed seven bids and discussed the differences in square-foot pricing before a motion was made. The motion “to approve R.J. Jurowski Construction, Inc. for the bid for the municipal building repairs” was moved by Perry Iberg and seconded by Loren Mueller and passed with all members voting yes by roll call. The council did not record any amendments to the award during the meeting.
Council members voting yes were Mayor Richard Champeny, Davie Meier, Larry Grisen, Perry Iberg, Loren Mueller, Gary Jepsen and David Earney. The decision follows a competitive bid opening recorded by the Municipal Building Committee and advances the contractor selection for the repairs.
