The board was also told that the middle‑school water‑treatment system replacement will start around the 13th, Miller school will have a sewer replacement and parking work with no water from Friday through Sunday, and pavement work is scheduled for the 17th–19th.
Transportation updates included two buses undergoing warranty work and contingency planning to contract drivers if regular drivers were not available. The superintendent and staff said they anticipated having routes covered by the start of school. The board scheduled tours of the high school for Aug. 24 (evening) and a preliminary walk‑through on Aug. 20 at 9 a.m.
